The Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership is the only presidential award to recognize companies for corporate leadership and citizenship through outstanding achievements in employee and community relations. The annual award is presented to companies that have demonstrated a deep commitment to making important investments of time, money and knowledge in strengthening the workforce. The award has become nationally recognized and is highly esteemed within the corporate community.
FD Dittus, an FTI company, works on behalf of The Conference Board, the Award's Administrator, to liaison with the winning companies, the White House, and the office of the Secretary of Commerce, who presents the Award each year.
The 2006-2007 Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership was presented at a White House ceremony on December 5, 2007, by Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez to Exelon Corporation, Northrop Grumman Corporation and Procter & Gamble.
