| DRI’s Electronic Discovery Seminar is focused on e-discovery issues of the
greatest concern to the defense bar. The seminar is designed to share the
knowledge and experience of industry leading corporate counsel from some
of the world’s most well-known companies, outside counsel who defend
complex cases involving electronic discovery, and federal magistrate judges
who oversee electronic discovery disputes in high-stakes cases. As in the
past, mock exercises and role playing will be used to emphasize the practical
over the theoretical. This seminar is designed to cut through the rhetoric
and answer your most pressing questions about topics such as controlling
costs, implementing effective litigation holds, dealing with opposing
counsel, dealing with the court, sanctions, the role of insurance, and ethics.
You will leave this seminar with practical knowledge and a solid
understanding of how courts are applying developing case law under the
new federal rules and the expanding number of state e-discovery rules. The
seminar is an excellent opportunity to gain practical knowledge while
networking with colleagues from across the nation. We look forward to
seeing you in New York.
