John Dowell

John has an extensive corporate finance, project finance and economic analysis background and advises clients on economic research, economic data modelling and analysis for industry sectors to determine market forecasts and the impact on their organisations or specific projects.

John has deep industry expertise in the Australian electricity and gas sectors, mining and resources, transport, water, health and education. He regularly advises clients on major infrastructure development investment projects for private corporations and government bodies across these sectors. In addition, he advises on financial and commercial evaluations and feasibility studies, company transactional services, market research, business evaluation, financial modelling and analysis and risk assessment reports.

John was previously director of the Strategic Advisory Group for Queensland Treasury Corporation (“QTC”) and headed mining and resources infrastructure for Projects Queensland.
