Adriana Prado

Adriana Prado has more than 15 years of experience in major consulting firms and media outlets in Brazil and specializes in crisis communications, with particular focus on cyber issues. Ms. Prado frequently speaks at specialized events and is a guest teacher at institutions such as the business school INSPER and the think tank Data Privacy Brasil.

Ms. Prado has developed and implemented external and internal communications strategies for dozens of Brazilian and international companies across various sectors, having helped some of the world’s largest organizations prepare for and respond to crisis involving cyber incidents, corruption, regulatory changes, litigation, operational incidents, restructuring, Congressional investigations and human rights issues, among other critical situations.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Prado was a Director at the global communications consulting firm Brunswick Group, where she worked for nearly seven years and participated in a major crisis, profile-raising and stakeholder engagement projects.

Ms. Prado has also worked for some of the major Brazilian media outlets, such as O Globo and Extra newspapers, the all-news radio station CBN and ISTOÉ magazine. In the corporate communications field, she was part of public relations agency FSB’s social media team. She was also a member of the Brazilian Corporate Communications Association’s (“ABERJE”) Crisis and Compliance committees.

Ms. Prado speaks fluent Portuguese and English and has intermediate Spanish skills.
