Amy Gelevski

Amy has more than 10 years’ experience in restructuring, corporate insolvency and advisory services. Her experience includes assessing business performance, preparing restructuring and workout arrangements and all forms of corporate insolvency appointments with significant experience in complex and cross-border insolvency issues.

Amy has taken a lead delivery role on some of the most iconic insolvency and restructuring cases in Australia, including managing the wind down of the Australian subsidiary of a global investment bank, which involved preparing and implementing a scheme of arrangement for the purposes of securing the settlement of AUD50 million in insurance proceeds for distribution to scheme creditors, being local councils, charities and other investors.

Amy has undertaken a number of advisory assignments, including short-term cashflow and independent business reviews, safe harbour advice and independent expert reports for a wide range of clients.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Amy was a senior vice president in the corporate finance and restructuring advisory practice at Kroll. Before this position, she was a senior manager within the business restructuring services team at PwC Australia, following the acquisition of PPB Advisory.

Relevant Experience:

• Lehman Brothers Australia Group — managed the wind down of the Australian arm of the global investment bank with approximately AUD50 million in assets and AUD700 million in creditors
• Sun Cable — managed the voluntary administration process to recapitalise the development operations of the Australia-Asia Power Link, being an AUD30 billion solar generation and transmission project
• Flow Systems — managed the administration sale and restructure of a sustainable multi-utility providing water services and embedded energy networks
• Project Noble — advised the secured lender of an ASX-listed group undertaking a refinancing and restructuring program
• Project Morrisey — prepared extensive solvency assessments as part of the expert witness report into the collapse of a major Australian retailer
