About Andrew
Andrew Ma specializes in transactions, growth strategy, and business transformation. Mr. Ma has more than 15 years of experience in strategy, operations and business development across the media and entertainment (“M&E”), technology and telecom sectors.
At FTI Delta, Mr. Ma leads due diligence, market assessments and growth strategy on behalf of private equity and corporate clients. He provides advisory services for companies in film and television production, pay TV distribution, live events, local broadcast and digital media, among others.
Prior to joining FTI Delta, Mr. Ma developed and managed subscription video products at Comcast NBCU, targeting strategic segments such as university students and cord-cutters. Mr. Ma also worked in connectivity at Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook), driving efforts to deliver internet to the underserved in emerging markets through promoting open, disaggregated cellular technologies.
Mr. Ma has also worked in strategic planning and business development for Sony Pictures and brand management for The Walt Disney Company. He has prior consulting experience at Accenture’s communications, media and technology group.
Relevant Experience:
- Led due diligence projects across the M&E sector, including visual effects, live events, digital media and production services
- Assessed growth strategy for a regional sports network (“RSN”) to diversify revenue amidst the declining linear TV market
- Performed turnaround business plan review on a distressed European streaming platform on behalf of its credit committee
- Advised a private equity client on market assessment and investment strategy across the media production supply chain
