About Brian
Brian Schoenbaechler is a member of FTI Consulting’s Performance Improvement practice and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Schoenbaechler is a proven leader with more than 25 years of operations, sales and financial experience running public and privately held organizations. He has successfully implemented performance and continuous improvement opportunities within a variety of industries.
Mr. Schoenbaechler has spent his career implementing operational excellence with a focus on process improvement within manufacturing and distribution. He has helped companies identify and implement manufacturing and supply chain improvements by focusing on improving profit, quality, labor costs, delivery times, safety and culture. His methodologies are strongly influenced by lean manufacturing and supply chain principles. He has a strong focus on eliminating waste.
In addition, Mr. Schoenbaechler’s experience in supply chain and manufacturing covers a wide range of industries, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, food, agriculture, beverage, packaging, building products, retail, transportation e-commerce, contract packaging, automotive manufacturing, oil and gas, biotech, third-party logistics and the federal government.
Mr. Schoenbaechler is committed to continuous improvement and fully recognizes performance is measured by achieving real results. He is a seasoned leader with demonstrated successes in diverse environments including public, private, professional services and the military.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Schoenbaechler was Managing Partner of IntegraCore, a Third-Party provider of Supply Chain Services. During this time, Mr. Schoenbaechler successfully led the company to three-times improvement in revenue and two-times improvement in net margin.
Relevant Experience:
- Performed manufacturing and supply chain network design and optimization to help companies reduce risk, improve delivery and reduce costs
- Performed operational due diligence and synergy assessments for private equity and private companies focusing on identifying risk, constraints, dependencies and key decisions
- Implemented lean management systems in manufacturing and distribution centers to improve profit, quality, labor costs, delivery times, safety and culture
- Implemented quality management systems in manufacturing and distribution centers to improve quality and drive process improvement
- Developed insourcing versus outsourcing decisions regarding manufacturing, transportation, warehousing and distribution
- Implemented returns management processes to help clients’ streamline their returns functions and unlock cash previously tied up in resources, time and indirect costs
- Led multiple green field projects to implement manufacturing and distribution centers; responsibilities included site selection, facility layout, warehouse management system (“WMS”) implementation, procurement, staffing, training and project management
- Assessed digital manufacturing and supply chain technology initiatives to automate process and integrate systems
