About Kaly
Kaly Trupp has nearly 15 years of experience in professional and financial services working with a variety of stakeholders to drive strategic objectives. Ms. Trupp’s advisory experience spans the company lifecycle, primarily focused on telecommunications.
Ms. Trupp is a Managing Director at FTI Delta, the strategy consulting practice of FTI Consulting, and is based in Denver. She is a member of the Telecom, Media and Technology practice and brings 15 years of experience. She has worked with a variety of stakeholders, including companies, private equity firms, lenders and investment banks.
Ms. Trupp has experience including merger integration planning and implementation, synergy analysis and execution, carve-out planning and execution, due diligence, business transformation, financial and operational analysis, business plan development and modeling, process improvement and digital strategy.
Prior to joining FTI Delta, Kaly worked at a high-net-worth wealth management firm where she was a part of the retirement plan consulting practice, managing client relationships, analyzing plan performance and managing risk.
Ms. Trupp holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Business Administration, Information and Operations Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Relevant Experience:
- Led the separation management office, driving all planning and execution activities across all workstreams, for the separation of $1 billion and $800 million regional units of a $17 billion telecom provider (“telco”) sold to a strategic international buyer
- Performed telco operations operating model transformation for a $1 billion telco provider
- Supported the integration of a $2 billion telco business, including roles in the integration management office (“IMO”), HR, risk management and the finance and accounting workstreams, organizational design and synergy analysis
- Performed the financial and operational diligence of a $200 million telco business for a buy-side private equity firm
- Developed the carve-out financial model and operational assessment for the separation assessment of a $1.3 billion UCaaS provider
- Supported the company-side restructuring of a $700 million satellite business, including the development and management of the business plan
