Leslie Marlo

Leslie Marlo is a Managing Director with more than 30 years of actuarial industry experience, including speaking at industry events and co-authoring expert perspective articles for several industry associations.

Ms. Marlo’s expertise includes ratemaking and profitability studies for personal and commercial lines; loss and loss expense reserve analysis; financial reporting analysis; internal controls reviews; risk transfer testing; actuarial valuation of property and casualty insurance companies; and assisting state regulators with evaluating the financial condition of insurance companies.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Marlo was vice president of Madison Consulting Group (“MCG”), which was acquired by FTI Consulting in early 2024 to enhance the firm’s property and casualty actuarial consulting capabilities and provide clients with insurance policy regulatory compliance services that will help insurance companies meet state and federal regulatory requirements.

Ms. Marlo is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and previously served as a board member and the vice president of administration. She also served as president of the Casualty Actuaries of the mid-Atlantic Region. Ms. Marlo is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
