About Xenia
Xenia Chang provides end-to-end business transformation and profitability improvement advisory services to clients in the telecom, media and technology (“TMT”) industry. Mrs. Chang has more than 10 years of experience in the management consulting and banking industries.
Mrs. Chang has broad experience in advising private equity firms and corporations ranging from distressed to growth profiles with due diligence, M&A advisory, growth and cost transformation services. Leveraging her expertise in finance and turnaround, Mrs. Chang specializes in creating sustainable value for corporate clients and investors in the technology sector by working closely with executive teams to identify and execute profitability improvement opportunities.
Mrs. Chang joined FTI Consulting in 2016 after earning her M.B.A. at Duke University, with a concentration in Finance and Social Entrepreneurship.
Relevant Experience:
- Drove value creation of approximately $170 million in cost savings initiatives for a $3 billion software company by conducting organizational and operational analyses as well as enterprise-wide external spend assessment
- Identified $300 million-plus profitability improvement opportunities through an operating model re-design and shared service center of excellence initiatives for a $12 billion media company
- Developed research and development (“R&D”) portfolio prioritization process at several SaaS companies and identified cost optimization opportunities by evaluating project return on investment (“ROI”), optimizing R&D operating model and conducting engineering talent market assessment
- Conducted a business plan review and profitability analysis for a leading car-sharing software platform company, supported the interim CFO to transform the budgeting process, manage liquidity to enable fund-raising activities and divest a profit-losing business unit, directly contributing to turning the company around from the edge of bankruptcy to IPO
- Drove a high-profile strategy and transformation project in the United Arab Emirates to set up a sustainable and best-in-class Media NewCo by consolidating multiple Media & Entertainment assets and creating a turnaround plan to lead to profitability
