Gregory Grellet heads the Government Relations, Public and Regulatory Affairs practice in France and is based in Paris.
Before joining FTI Consulting, Gregory spent 20 years in public service in addition to experience in the private sector in aerospace, telecommunications and banking. He led the “France Transition Ecologique,” a joint governmental initiative between the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition which sought to facilitate the financing of companies' ecological transitions.
Prior to this experience, Gregory was the secretary general for the 2019 European elections for the majority party in France and deputy secretary general of the majority in the French National Assembly after the election of Emmanuel Macron in 2017.
Gregory was a lead senior economist on financial stability and macroprudential topics for the French Central Bank (Banque de France), working in cooperation with IMF, the World Bank and the Bank of International Settlements. He has also led the corporate ratings department of the Banque de France in Paris. To add to this, Gregory spent several years in Germany as a supervision oversight manager for the European Central Bank in Frankfurt.
Gregory was also a faculty lecturer at Sciences Po, Paris on financial stability topics, and as mentioned above, he was a manager in the banking sector, an internal strategy consultant in the telecom industry and a policy and regulatory affairs analyst in the aerospace industry.
A French national, Gregory holds a M.B.A. from ESSEC Business School in addition to an LL.M. and M.S. in Contemporary History. He also studied in the United States at the Tuck Business School at Dartmouth College and in Ukraine at the National University of I.I.Metchnikov, Odessa.
