Michael Reinert

A seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience as a communications advisor, Michael Reinert advises companies and their boards in critical, high-prominence situations. He provides counsel to clients facing challenges in merger and acquisition and activist defence situations, as well as in the areas of corporate, litigation, crisis and restructuring communications.

Before joining FTI Consulting in 2009, Michael was a managing partner of A&B Communications Group, the firm’s former joint venture partner in Germany. In this position, he was responsible for building and leading A&B’s corporate, change and financial communications practice, and founded a joint venture with Financial Dynamics. Prior to that, he was executive board chairman of ABC/Euro RSCG in Germany. Earlier in his career Michael was a journalist.

Michael holds an M.A. of Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Hamburg.
