Annie Mayol del Valle

Annie Mayol del Valle is an executive leader with a strategic- and results-driven mindset, striving to directly impact economic development, government affairs, social and community empowerment. Ms. Mayol del Valle is highly skilled in business strategies, finding common ground within diverse and culturally competitive working contexts, and is recognized by others for her innovative vision, financial insight and analysis, strategic planning, work ethics, integrity and people intelligence. She also has excellent diplomatic, social and citizenship competencies to build consensus, harvest dialogues and reach common grounds with committed actions.

Ms. Mayol del Valle has more than 15 years of experience providing services in the areas of healthcare management in the public and private sector. She helps clients develop comprehensive sustainable business development strategies and provides support in the management of key private, non-profit and government stakeholders. She assists clients with enhancing business development opportunities through coordination with communications and branding strategies, coalition building, community relations and governmental policy initiatives.

Ms. Mayol del Valle served as Chief Administrative Officer for MSO of Puerto Rico, the sister company of MMM Holdings (Elevance Puerto Rico), in charge of managing the health plan’s provider network. In this capacity she strengthened the leadership vision and execution by invigorating the business, building up relationships with network providers and stakeholders while orchestrating various projects focused in quality, compliance, medical cost savings and operational effectiveness. Among her key accomplishments are the implementation of a network optimization strategy for underperforming primary care physicians (“PCPs”), saving the company $5 million; the successful development and implementation of a new capitated compensation contract for more than 1,500 primary care doctors; and the implementation of many operational improvement strategies.

Prior to her work at MSO, Ms. Mayol del Valle was appointed as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of the Puerto Rico Department of Health to maximize state and federal funds while improving utilization costs and operational programs. Other previous roles include Advisor on Federal Affairs and National Policy in the Office of the Governor and Associate Director, Office of Political Affairs at the White House in Washington, D.C.
