Natasha Milne is an accredited Forensic Accounting Specialist and Business Valuation Specialist. Natasha helps lawyers get to the crux of financial issues in disputes, particularly in commercial litigation, negligence, insurance, family law and estate matters. Natasha prepares expert reports and provides independent expert witness and consulting expert services. Her expertise includes the analysis of complex financial information, financial modelling, the quantification of economic loss and damage, financial investigations and the assessment of solvency or financial capacity.
Natasha has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, with the past 15 years specialising in forensic accounting, litigation support services and business valuation. Prior to this, she practised in taxation and business services.
Natasha regularly provides training and presentations to solicitors, accountants and other professionals on a range of accounting, forensic accounting, business valuation, business interruption and assessment of damage topics. Natasha is also a guest lecturer in the forensic accounting courses at the Queensland University of Technology and a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (“CAANZ”) National Forensic Accounting Committee.
Natasha was the winner of the Australian Accounting Awards Accounting Consultant of the Year 2021 and 2022, and the Dispute Resolution Centre of Australia Property, Finance & Accounting Peacemaker of the Year 2021.
