William C. Brydges

Bill Brydges specializes in enterprise business applications, IT strategy and organization, infrastructure including cloud and on-premise solutions, and cybersecurity. Mr. Brydges’ 30-year career spans a broad set of industries in both commercial and federal markets. He has experience through all aspects of the business lifecycle.

Throughout his career, Mr. Brydges has achieved concrete results consulting with clients to understand and improve their technology capabilities, increase efficiency and scalability, reduce IT risk and enable transformation of critical business processes and capabilities in support of organizational objectives. He has direct experience in acquisition, integration and business transformation efforts, as well as divestiture/carve-out activities. In addition to his consulting engagements, Mr. Brydges has worked directly in CIO/CTO roles.

During his time at FTI Consulting, Mr. Brydges has assisted clients with technology transformations directly related to merger integration activities. His experience on those projects included assessment of technology capabilities for each of the merging entities, design of the future state and delivery in a PMO role of key initiatives required to complete integration and drive to planned synergies. On a different engagement, Mr. Brydges assisted with the design and rapid deployment of applications and cloud-preferred infrastructure for a carve-out in the financial services sector.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Brydges held leadership roles as CIO/CTO for a large defense contractor. In one role, he was responsible for infrastructure transformation and data center migration, the movement of corporate headquarters into a new facility and significant improvement of business application capabilities to support offerings in a highly regulated environment. Mr. Brydges was responsible for both internal IT capabilities and the overall delivery of his company’s services to the federal sector (Department of Defense focused).

In previous roles, Mr. Brydges led an infrastructure managed services business. He drove the delivery of technology services across a wide range of service offerings. Starting out, Mr. Brydges joined PwC and progressed from entry-level through partner roles focused on business applications. He has specific focus and experience with HR/Payroll systems and environments. He also has deployed and managed the deployment of solutions in financials, supply chain, CRM and other areas.

Mr. Brydges holds a B.A. in Political Science from Williams College.
