Mathilde Jean is a seasoned strategic communications expert, boasting a decade of experience. She specializes in helping her clients navigate complex or crisis situations with multiple stakeholders across francophone countries.

Mathilde plays a pivotal role in assisting multinational corporations in devising communication strategies for sensitive and critical situations. Her expertise spans a wide array of areas, including the preparation of sensitive communications, such as mapping reputational risks, drafting crisis communications manuals, formulating strategies for engaging stakeholders and drafting key messages and Q&As that will resonate amongst diverse audiences.

During major operational incidents, Mathilde seamlessly integrates into emergency response teams, facilitating and coordinating crisis communication efforts through various means, including media and social media monitoring, communications strategy devising and liaising with relevant contacts within the French-speaking media.

With her deep understanding of the French media landscape and the specificities of francophone journalists, Mathilde regularly delivers high-level training sessions on public speaking to C-suite executives. Throughout her career, she has lent her expertise to various industries, including energy and mining groups, airlines, financial services and real estate specialists.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mathilde worked for Edelman in Paris as a public relations consultant. She holds an M.A. in corporate finance from Neoma Business School and is bilingual in English and French.
