Kerry Barwise

Kerry Barwise specialises in economic impact and benefic cost analysis and provides policy advice to business and government. He has over 25 years of experience in the evaluation of major projects and policy changes impacting construction, mining and resources, agribusiness and infrastructure services.

Kerry has substantive experience leading or contributing to reviews and consultancy projects assessing the economic implications of policy and investment decisions. He often assesses innovative funding and finance options to pay for infrastructure and other services. He regularly prepares reports and submissions dealing with complex economic concepts and communicates findings and solutions in plain English.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting in early 2019, Kerry held senior roles in consulting organisations including ACIL Allen Consulting and the Centre for International Economics. Kerry commenced his professional career in the Department of the Treasury.

Kerry provided economic advice in areas including Fiscal Policy, Structural Policy including corporatisation and commercialisation of government owned businesses, Government revenue, loans and investment and Commonwealth-State financial relations. Kerry was posted to Singapore and served as Counsellor Economic South East Asia for three years.
